Hyderabad: Popular Telugu singer Kalpana Raghavendar allegedly attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills at her residence here, police said on Tuesday.
The singer was rushed to a hospital where she is undergoing treatment, police said.
Her condition is reported to be stable. She is out of danger, doctors said.
The police are investigating the reasons behind her suicide attempt.
