New Delhi: As he gets ready to make a comeback to films after a long gap, necessitated due to his conviction, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt said that he missed being on the film sets all these years.Talking to UNI on the sets of his comeback film 'Bhoomi' in Agra, Dutt said that while in the prison, he missed being on the film sets."My experience with the industry has been fantastic. It is my family and when I was in jail, I missed every moment of being with them.

I love everybody - from the technicians, actors to directors. So, when I came back on the sets, it felt like I was back with my family,” he told reporters.Asked how he felt on being out of jail, Dutt, who is shooting for the film along with his co stars Aditi Rao Hyderi and Shekhar Suman, said he is happy that the tag of 'deshdrohi' (anti-national) has been removed and the case is done and dusted.

“I am happy that the tag of 'deshdrohi' has been removed from my name. The Court has proved me innocent.Mein uss case se baizzat bari hua hu (I was held innocent in that case).Sirf Arms Act mein convicted hoon(I have only been convicted in the Arms case)," the Bollywood 'Munna Bhai' said.Being produced by Bhushan Kumar of T series and directed by Omung Kumar (who helmed films like 'Mary Kom' and 'Sarabjit'), 'Bhoomi' is a revenge drama which revolves around the relationship between a father and a daughter.

While Dutt plays the father, the daughter's role is being played by Aditi.Asked whether Aditi's character is similar to that of Trishala, Sanjay replied,"Yes, there are similarities.Trishala wanted to be an actress and I wanted to break her legs which I am not doing here (in 'Bhoomi')." The actor said he has invested a lot of time and energy to put Trishala in a college in the US where she is doing very well.

"Firstly, I have invested a lot of time and energy to put her in a good college- a college offering a course in criminal justice - , and she has done very well. She has specialised in Forensic Science.
She works with the FBI and she is also studying fashion designing," he said.Asked why he did not want his daughter to be in films, Dutt said," It's not easy being an actor. It looks easy and glamorous, but it is a very difficult job.

Even if Trishala wants to join the industry, she has to learn Hindi." Responding on the controversy over him calling Salman Khan 'arrogant ', Dutt said there was no problem between him and Salman."There's no problem between me and Salman. And there's nothing wrong in being called arrogant.Arrogant is not a bad word. It's an expression.I can be arrogant.
but a lovable arrogant," Dutt clarified.

Asked if he was nervous about Ranbir portraying the role of Sanjay in the upcoming biopic on his life, being directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the actor said, 'I am not nervous about my real life being portrayed on the big screen.' The actor said he has nothing to lose, as he has lived his life out in the open.Whether it’s his relationship with his parents or the controversies he is involved in, nothing is hidden about the star, which in a way empowers him.On the new age actors, Dutt said, "I like Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh.Varun Dhawan has done some good work, as also Alia Bhatt.I think they are really good. They work professionally and perform well." 'Bhoomi ' marks Dutt's comeback to films after completion of his jail term.(UNI)
