I want to keep evolving as an actor : Sonam Kapoor

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, who has won a special mention at the 64th National film awards for her work in 'Neerja', today said that she wants to do films that help her evolve as an actor.Speaking at the sidelines of the awards ceremony at here, Sonam, who was accompanied by her father and bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, said, 'As an actress it is my constant endeavour to do films that help me evolve as an actress."


 "I want to keep evolving as an actor with each of my films,' she said.Describing 'Neerja ' as a path breaking film of her career, She said the film was a celebration of human courage." Directed by Ram Madhvani, 'Neerja ' is inspired by life of Neerja Bhanot, the head purser on the Pan Am flight 73 from Bombay to new York in 1986 who saved the lives of passengers following the hijacking of the flight at Karachi.

Sonam also termed 'Ranjhana ', a film she did a few years ago as a milestone in her career.'A few years ago I did 'Ranjhana which I believe was a milestone in my career," she said. (UNI)
