IFFI 2024: Ranbir Kapoor to grace Kala Academy on THIS date

At IFFI 2024, superstar Ranbir Kapoor will engage in a special conversation on November 24, 2:30 pm at Kala Academy, as part of the celebrations honoring his legendary great-grandfather, Raj Kapoor, on the occasion of his centenary.

Hosted by filmmaker Rahul Rawail, the session promises to be an insightful exploration of Ranbir’s film journey, his acting techniques, and the influence of Raj Kapoor's legacy on both Bollywood and the global cinematic landscape.

Raj Kapoor is largely credited with the international popularity and creating the soft-power that Bollywood has become today. It was Raj Kapoor, Ranbir’s illustrious great-grandfather who firmly established the cultural supremacy of Bollywood across international borders and is known as one of the pillars of indian cinema.

During this conversation, Ranbir will share personal anecdotes and discuss the creative processes behind his iconic performances, providing fans and aspiring actors with a rare glimpse into the artistic world of one of India’s most beloved stars.

As part of a larger series of master classes, panel discussions and freewheeling podcast-type chats across directing, screenwriting, acting, and film production, this event with Ranbir Kapoor shines brightly in IFFI’s lineup, offering a unique chance for fans and budding actors to witness the craft of one of India’s most celebrated stars.

The 55th year of IFFI organised by NFDC India and ESG under the aegis of Information and Broadcasting ministry, will take place from 20th to 28th November.
