Indian music composer Ricky Kej wins his third Grammy

Bengaluru: Renowned music composer Ricky Kej won his third Grammy Award for the album 'Divine Tides' along with rock-legend Stewart Copeland.
 
The 'Divine Tides', a collaborative project with Copeland, was nominated in the Best Immersive Audio Album category.
 
Both the maestros had also bagged Grammy for Best New Age Album in 2022. Ricky also won for his 2015 'Winds of Samsara' album.
 
The coveted award was announced at the live ceremony held at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles.
 
The award-winning album is a tribute to the magnificence of natural world. It has nine songs and eigth music videos that were shot around the globe from the exquisite beauty of the Indian Himalayas to the icy forests of Spain.
 
Ricky is the youngest person from India to have won a Grammy Award, and only the fourth Indian.
 
Meanwhile, Copeland is a 5-time Grammy Award-winning American musician and composer.
 
He is the founder and drummer of the British rock group 'The Police' who have sold over 75 million albums worldwide. (UNI)
