'Jolly LLB2' earns Rs 13.75-cr on opening day

New Delhi, Feb 11 (UNI) Riding on its thrilling courtroom drama, the presence of Akshay Kumar and popularity of the its franchise, "Jolly LLB2" earned Rs 13.75-cr on its opening day, trade sources said today.
The trade sources said the courtroom comedy drama, which also feature Huma Qureshi, Anu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in key roles, collected around Rs 13.75 crore on its opening day yesterday.
Trade sources said that the positive response to the film from audiences as well as critics will help it to record good growth over the weekend.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film is a sequel to the 2013 film Jolly LLB, which featured Arshad warsi in the lead.
