Tumakuru: A case was registered against Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut for her expression over the farmers' protest on the Union Government's contentious Farm Laws.
The city police registered a criminal case following a direction from a court.

According to police sources, it was stated that a criminal case had been registered against the actor, following a complaint lodged by Advocate Ramesh Naik, who had contended a Twitter message posted recently by the actor had hurt him and sought actions against the actor.
The actress, in her September 21 Tweet, had allegedly stated that the people who had opposed the CAA bill, are the same one who are opposing the Farm bills and causing terror in the nation.    The criminal cases under IPC 108, 153 A and 504 had been booked as per the directions of the JMFC court Tumakuru, the sources added.(UNI)
