Mumbai: Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan, who plays a role of a visually challenged person in his upcoming movie 'Kaabil', says his film will build an awareness for the visually challenged people. 'We are so unaware about the blinds. And I think the movie we will build an awareness in the society for the blinds,' Hrithik said at an event to promote his film yesterday. Hrithik, who is known for playing unusual roles like a paralysed magician in Guzaarish or a grown up boy with a mind of a 10-year-old in Koi Mil Gaya, said his role in Kaabil was the toughest role of his career. "It is the toughest role of my career.

There are a lot of risks I have taken in this film in terms of my performance, by not making it stereotypical. All actors have their crutches; they have a way of dialogue delivery, or they fall back on commercial tricks. All of us do that in our films. But I have not used any of that in this film.' On being asked about getting into the skin of the character, he said, "I have seen a lot of videos of the blind, met my blind friends, and I have seen they were incredible and were a source of inspiration.

As actors, we have done a lot of things for getting into the characters, but we realised that we have to play the characters just like we are, without any sympathy, because they (blind) are just like us." Speaking on the occasion, Yami Gautam, who plays the lead alongside Hrithik in Kaabil, said, 'Hrithik is the most hardworking and selfless actor I have ever worked with. He is always concerned about the whole scene, including the performance of the co-actors, dancers and everyone.

" Hrithik said that through the movie they want to to change the mindset regarding the blind 'They are differently abled, but as abled as you and me. Just differently,' he said. The film directed by Sanjay Gupta, will be one of the first big box office clashes of 2017 which will be witnessed on January 25, when Kaabil and Shahrukh Khan's Raees will hit the theaters on the same day.
