Kangana Ranaut having starred in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is back with a sequel. The last movie was the story about the wife of the king of Jhansi, Rani Laxmi Bai who rebelled against the British Raj and singlehandedly fought them with her infant tied to her back; after she lost her husband in a battle.
The last film was averagely liked by the audience and got a 6.4/10 IMDB rating. However, Kangana’s acting was highly appreciated. Now the outspoken actress is back with another movie that revolves around the life of the Queen of Didda, who was the first woman warrior of Kashmir, also known as the Cleopatra of Kashmir.
Kangana will be playing the role of the queen of Didda who ruled over Kashmir for four decades. It’ll be a historical drama. It is expected to release in January 2022.(WD)
