New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar on Thursday announced the star cast of his upcoming multi-starrer historical magnum opus 'Takht'.'Takht' will feature Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.

While not many details about the film have been revealed, Karan Johar has announced this multi-starrer by releasing a poster of names along with a few other details. Karan Johar will be wearing the director's hat in 'Takht' after 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' (2016).

Janhvi Kapoor posted the picture of film's poster on Instagram and said, "So excited, blessed and honoured to be a part of this journey @karanjohar.""Honoured to be a part of @karanjohar 's multi-starrer historical magnum opus #TAKHT !!! @apoorvamehta18 @DharmaMovies," Vickey Kaushal said in a tweet.
"Super-excited to be a part of KARAN JOHAR'S MULTI-STARRER HISTORICAL MAGNUM OPUS.#TAKHT @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @DharmaMovies," Bhumi Pednekar said.
