New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan has left everyone impressed with his amazing performance last year with blockbuster films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Freddy.

While the actor ruled over the hearts of the audience like madness, the first look of his upcoming film, 'Shehzada' also went on to grab the attention of everyone in no time.

While the audience is truly excited to watch the superstar in a whole new massive action avatar in the film, here comes yet another piece of revelation for his fans about him turning a producer for 'Shehzada'.

A source close to Kartik has revealed, “It wasn’t planned or anything. It is the early days for Kartik to turn producer. He has just started his career as an actor. But then, the unexpected happened. Shehzada encountered a financial crisis and if someone did not step in at that moment, the project would have been stalled.”

After having seen such circumstances arising, it was indeed a fair decision from Kartik to step forward to rescue the project. “Kartik offered to forego his remuneration. That’s when the other producers offered to have him on board as a producer,” as informed by the source.

Having joined the film as a producer, Kartik has added his name to the other producers Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, and Aman Gill. The production companies are T-Series Films, part of their 100-film slate, Allu Entertainment and Haarika & Hassine Creations.

The filmmakers said, “It’s been quite a joyride making this film with Kartik as an actor, but now it’s become even more exciting having Kartik on board as one of the producers of the film. Like us Kartik too believes in wide-reaching films that appeal to youngsters, families and the masses. ‘Shehzada’ is meant for all of them, hence it made natural sense for him to pick this film for his debut as producer.”

On the work front, Kartik also has Aashiqui 3, Kabir Khan’s untitled next, and Satyaprem Ki Katha. (UNI)
