Mumbai: “Karwaan” is proving to be a better movie than “Fanney Khan” and Mulk. Despite poor opening trio movie accelerated a bit on Sunday, still failed to reach the double figure.
Anil Kapoor starrer Fanney Khan derailed despite better opening than other two movies. The movie earned 6.75 crore this weekend (1.9+ 2.25+2.6 cr). While Rishi Kapoor and Tapsee Pannu starrer “Mulk” earned only 6.8 crore (1.45+2.35+3).
Irrfan Khan starrer “Karwaan” had a slow start, but now it has the best collection, all thanks to mouth publicity. The movie has earned 7.75 Crore (1.5+2.75+3.5). (WD)
