New Delhi: Sony Entertainment Television's popular game show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, is gearing up for its 16th season, which premieres on August 12 at 9:00 PM.
Hosted by the iconic Amitabh Bachchan, the show is set to enhance its gameplay with a new feature called ‘Super Sawaal’.
The ‘Super Sawaal’ introduces a bonus question after the first safe haven (Q5), with no options and no lifelines available. Contestants who answer this question correctly gain the 'Dugnastra' superpower, allowing them to double their winnings on one question between Q6 and Q10. For instance, if a contestant activates the superpower on Q9, worth INR 1,60,000, and answers correctly, they will receive an additional INR 1,60,000, increasing their final winnings. However, lifelines cannot be used when employing the Dugnastra.
This new twist promises to add a strategic dimension to the show, making the competition more intense and exciting.
