KGF comes very close to Zero on Day one

Mumbai: KGF: Chapter 1 has made a fantastic opening on box office. Kannada film KGF, starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles, released on Friday. The film also released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

It has earned Rs 18.1 crore on its opening day. Film's trailer turned out to be extremely popular among fans. SRK's Zero has taken down KGF by a very small margin. But when one takes note of the number of screens, both the films released into consideration, KGF seems to have outperformed Zero.
