Kingdom of Jurassic world shakes from day 1 at box office

Mumbai: There was a time when the Jurrasic series was considered one of the highest reaping movies in Indian market. Jurassic park was the first Hollywood film, which was dubbed in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the  movie received an amazing response among the Indian crowd and went on to run in the theatres for 25 weeks. Since then Jurassic series has been a sure shot formula of success in India. (Pic-Twitter)

The successor movie “The lost world” , “Jurassic Park 3” and Irrfan Khan starrer "Jurassic world" too performed phenomenally well. However the same can-not be said for the recently released “Jurassic world- The fallen Kindom”. The movie ,which clashed with Rajnikanth’s “Kaala” in India was released in 2300 screens. While Kaala was released on 2000 screens and its opening collection is 5 crore only in Andhra Pradesh.

If sources are to be believed the box office collection of “Jurassic world- The fallen Kindom” is merely 4.75 crore.The movie was not well promoted and it looks like cine goers now finds monstrous dinosaurs monotonous in this era.
