Mumbai: Director-Producer Ekta Kapoor's one of the most popular and successful shows 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' will once again be aired after 22 years from February 16.
Taking to Instagram, Ekta on Tuesday shared the soap's original video of Smriti Irani welcoming viewers to her home. She captioned her post: "Is promo ki ek jhalak dekh kar hi saari puraani yaadein tazaa ho gayi. Today, as I look back, I recall every memory, every moment that made this show a most loved one! Usi pyaar ke saath judiye is safar se dobaara. Budhvaar se, harr roz, shaam 5 baje, sirf StarPlus par. "Smriti Irani, Ronit Bose Roy, Amar Upadhyay -- How did you feel after watching this promo, itne saalon ke baad?"
'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' was the first daily soap in the history of Indian television that completed 1000 episodes. It was aired for the first time in 2000 and continued for eight years telecasting around 1,800 episodes.
The family drama was produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor with Amar Upadhyay and Smriti Irani as leads. The other prominent actors included Ronit Roy, Gautami Kapoor, Hiten Tejwani and Karishma Tanna.
