Laal Singh Chaddha Box Office: Slow start for Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer, earns merely THIS much

New Delhi: After a long wait Aamir Khan's highly anticipated film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' has been released in the theatres. However, the film had a slow start at the box office.

Looking at the initial collection of 'Laal Singh Chaddha', the film collected only Rs 11.5 crore, on the very first day.

'Laal Singh Chaddha', produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Chaitanya Akkineni.

The film released on August 11. It is an official remake of ‘Forrest Gump’.

Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan also released alongside Laal Singh Chaddha. According to reports, Raksha Bandhan also earned Rs 8 crore. (Inputs from UNI)
