Mumbai: Bollywood's Nightengale Lata Mangeshkar seems to be very happy with the proposed construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Yesterday, Lata Mangeshkar watched the Bhoomi Poojan performed by PM Narendra Modi in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shree Ram. Taking to the Microblogging site the veteran singer wrote, "Namaskar to many kings, many generations and Ram devotees from all over the world, the unfulfilled dream of centuries seems to be coming true today."
After an exile of 500 years, the temple of Lord Shri Ram will be constructed after the apex court's verdict. Ms. Mageshkar further wrote, "Even though millions of Rambhaktas will not be able to reach there due to Corona, but Shri Ram will be there in the inner core of heart. I am glad that this function is being done by the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Bhai. Today, my family and the whole world are very happy, and as if today every heartbeat and breath is chanting "Jai Shri Ram. "
Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon also posted a saffron-clad image of Lord Ram on her official twitter handle. While Actress turned politicians Jaya Prada congratulated Indians on this momentous occasion and said it will be written in the golden words in Indian History.
The rest of the Bollywood lobby maintained a strategic silence on Bhumi Poojan.
