Mumbai: Music Industry had its hands tied by the pandemic and ensuing lockdowns, but as the world is working its way back to a level of ‘normalcy’, the music industry is also trying to bring back happiness and certain excitement by resuming music tours and concerts. Bringing that magic back to the stage is music composer and the living legend Pyarelal ji (Laxmikant-Pyarelal), who is all set to perform in the US after 25 long years, along with twenty Bollywood top musicians and legendary singers like Amit Kumar, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sudesh Bhosle, Sadhana Sargam, Priyanka Mitra and Mohammed Salamat.

This is going to be an ultimate musical concert which will bring back timeless tunes and memories from the 70s, 80s and 90s to the music lovers. This high profile international large scale live-music concert will be a six-city tour across the US and Canada in the month of May-June 2022. This special concert tour is organized by one of the biggest organizers ‘PRRIA HAIDER PRODUCTIONS’ and ‘SPLENDID GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT INC’, owned by Prria Haider and Mehboob Haider, both Indian born-US citizens now for the past thirty years. They promise to be a night of coming together and enjoying their favourite singer’s enthralling performances for the Indian diaspora and Bollywood music lovers in the US & Canada.

Talking about the event, the most successful & acclaimed composer Pyarelal ji stated, “I have got to tour across the world, but performing in the US along with the best musicians after 25 years is making me nostalgic. But I don’t grieve Laxmiji’s absence because, even today, I feel he is right here with me. Music is the only way that heals us and brings us together, especially in the tough times like this. I am ecstatic to bring some euphoria and memories to my audience through our music. We would be performing most of the classics for our audience.”

“We decided to bring back a retro concert which we all were missing. There is certain excitement about attending a live concert which is even more relevant in today’s masked post pandemic era and we can’t be happier bringing back the living legend Pyarelal ji who had given us glorious music. The idea behind the ‘Laxmikant-Pyarelal musical concert tour’ is to make new memories and cherish old ones, which I think we all need, to heal from these two tough pandemic years. ‘PRRIA HAIDER PRODUCTIONS’ and ‘SPLENDID GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT INC’ also plan to take this tour worldwide in other countries beside the US & Canada.”, Mr Mehboob Haider added.

The event is conceptualized and directed by Alpa Mehta of Map Worldwide and tickets for the concerts will start from early 2022. The space of the venues is expected to be open at a full capacity and the organisers are maintaining protocols and government guidelines keeping the pandemic situation in mind.

Laxmikant-Pyarelal ji are considered the most successful composers in the Hindi film industry who have composed music for about 635+ Hindi films, working for all notable filmmakers in the country. They had an uncanny understanding of the cinematic medium and composed an eternity’s worth of songs. And as long as human life is coloured by different shades of emotions, we will continue to hear, sing and celebrate Laxmikant-Pyarelal ji’s songs.

This concert is a celebration of the brilliant music and memories and will definitely be a great way to connect with music lovers across the world.
