Mumbai: Despite excellent reviews from critics and all round praise for performances of Amitabh Bachchan and other members of its cast, Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Pink’ has evoked a lukewarm response at the box office, earning just Rs 21.51 crore in its opening weekend.
The other release of the day ‘Raaz Reboot’ also got a below average response with collections of just Rs 18 crore in its opening weekend.‘Pink’, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chaudhry, features superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Tapsee Pannu and Kirti Kulhari in main roles.
The film has evoked excellent reviews from film critics and praise for the performances of its main cast.'Raaz Reboot', directed by Vikram Bhatt, features Emraan Hashmi in the lead and Kriti Kharbanda and Gaurav Arora in key roles. (UNI)
