Mumbai: Continuing its strong run at the box office, 'M S Dhoni: The Untold Story' has earned Rs 109 cr at the box office in the first ten days of its release, becoming the fourth highest earner of the year 2016, trade sources said. The film collected Rs 109.30 crore in 10 days at the domestic box office.With this total, the biopic has now beaten the lifetime collections of Housefull 3, which has total earnings of Rs 107.

It has now become the 4th highest grossing film of 2016.With the film still drawing crowds , trade sources said the film could overtake the collections of Rustom (127.42 crore) and become the 3rd highest earner of the year 2016. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, 'M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story' stars Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role and Disha Patani, Kiara Advani and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles.Trade sources said 'M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story' is performing extremely well at the worldwide box office.
Till now, the film has grossed Rs 28.63 crore in the overseas circuits.It currently stands with a total gross collections of Rs 181.65 crore globally.This biopic has also turned highest grosser for actor Sushant Singh Rajput and director Neeraj Pandey. A biographical drama based on life of India's ODI captain M S Dhoni, 'M S Dhoni: The Untold Story' hit the screens on September 30 and was released in a record 5000 cinema screens. (UNI)
