Mahesh Bhatt heartened by Bollywood’s words of praise for Alia’s work in ‘Dear Zindagi’

Mumbai: Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is heartened at the praise coming for his daughter for her performance in the just released film ‘Dear Zindagi’.Reacting to the praise from Shaad Randhawa for Alia’s acting in the film, Bhatt, in a post on twitter, said,'Dilip Saab once told me: If u want to praise the parent u must praise their child.'Thank u kid!' In his praise for Alia, Randhawa said,'aliaa is one of the finest actors, Ever .

Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan must be so proud !!!’’ Alia has received praise from Bollywood celebrities like Hrithik Roshan for her performance in the film.Bhatt himself has said that he has been awestruck at Alia’s performance in the film.He has also praised Shah Rukh’s performance in the film, which hit the cinema screens yesterday.

'I am not aware what kind of responses ‘Dear Zindagi’ is getting.But I watched and I am staggered by Gauri’s work, awestruck by Alia.Also I’ve never seen Shah Rukh onscreen the way he has emerged in this film,' Bhatt said at an event.About the film, Alia said, 'It is an out of the box and brave film.

‘Dear Zindagi’ makes Indian cinema proud.It is a new turn into a zone, which is going to bring many surprises.' The second directorial venture by Gauri Shinde, ‘Dear Zindagi’ features Alia in the lead and Shahrukh in an ‘extended special appearance’.It also stars Kunal Roy Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi.The film has fetched rave reviews for Alia's performance.
