PS-1 registered massive advance booking sales at the box office before the release. The multi-starrer has set the box office on fire and has emerged as the Biggest Ever opening day for Tamil Cinema.

The Mani Ratnam film stars Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles.
