Mom gained momentum in the first weekend at box-office

Mumbai: As reported by Webdunia earlier, a starless movie depends too much on the mouth publicity and critic reviews. The positive  feedback has reflected in the box office collections of the first weekend for Sridevi starrer Mom.

The meager collection on the opening day of 2.75 crore disappointed the makers.The collections were almost double fold on Saturday (5.08 crore). The movie continued to excel on sunday and estimate collections were 6 crore, making the gross collection 13.75 crore. The movie is expected to perform good on weekdays also.  (WD)
