Mother backed Swara Bhaskar’s self pleasuring scene in Veere DI Wedding

Mumbai: Swara Bhaskar has been the talk of the town ever since her controversial scene was seen by the audience in the recently released Veere Di Wedding. In the specific scene Swara Bhaskar was featured pleasing her with vibrator. Swara Bhaskar wad severely criticized for this scene and many thought that they were uncomfortable watching the movie with elders. Besides, Swara Bhaskar was brutally trolled for this act in the movie and many termed her hypocrite as she criticized the climax scene of Padmaavat.

However, her mother who is also a film historian has a counter view. In an interview with a news portal, Era Bhaskar said that a movie has portrayed a typical girls gang in the movie. Thus, it is difficult for the society to accept.  She also termed the scene as merely an orgasm scene which doesn’t require a Bruhaha. She said sexuality is now being discussed in the main stream cinema. (WD)
