Mumbai police arrest man for issuing death threat to Salman Khan demanding Rs 2 cr ransom

Mumbai: Mumbai police have arrested a man for issuing death threat to Bollywood actor Salman Khan and MLA Zeeshan Siddique, son of the late NCP leader Baba Siddique, and demanding Khan to pay Rs two crore.
 
Police arrested the man from Bandra area of Mumbai suburb after a case was registered , officials said here on Friday.
 
The accused, identified as Adham Mustafa, has previously worked in Dubai and stays with his family in Bandra currently, police said.
 
According to police, Mustafa appears to have committed the crime for mischief.
 
A case was registered after the Mumbai traffic police Tuesday received a message on its WhatsApp number issuing death threats to Salman and Siddique, from an unknown number.
 
“In the message, the sender had threatened to kill Salman Khan while threats were also issued to Zeeshan Siddique. The accused had further demanded Rs 2 crore from the actor,” an investigator said.
Earlier, Police arrested a youth from Noida who had also issued death threat to both of them while demanding Rs 5 crore.
