Mumbai: A day after Bollywood megastar Salman Khan and his father, writer Salim Khan received death threats, Mumbai Police has tightened actor's security.
A team Led by Joint Commissioner of Police Vishwas Nangre-Patil and other officers on Monday visited at Salman Bandra west home to carry out investigations and increased security there.
“I will comment only after getting all the preliminary information in the case,” said Nangre-Patil, even as extra security personnel were deployed at the Khans' residence.
According to the police, Salim Khan found a letter on a bench where he sits daily after jogging. The letter mentions the names of the superstar and his father Salim Khan. The letter said in Hindi “Tumhara Moosewala Kar Denge”.
For the uninitiated, the Punjabi singer was shot dead in his car last month. (Inputs from UNI)
