New Delhi: Bollywood actress Nargis Fakri has refuted rumours that she is planning to quit the film industry.In a post on social networking site twitter, Nargis, who will be soon seen in the forthcoming film ‘Banjo’, directed by Ravi Jadhav, said she would be back soon to promote her film ‘Banjo’.
'Lookin forward 2finishing my assignment in daUS &being back 2start promoting #Banjo in a few weeks!#noplanstoquit #allelsearebaselessrumours,’’Nargis tweeted. Reports about the actress quitting Bollywood and not returning to India have been doing the rounds over the last few weeks.
After the actress left the country during the promotions of her films ‘Azhar’ and ‘Housefull 3’ in May this year, there were reports that she quit the industry and had left for the US permanently.
This was, however, refuted by her spokesperson who said that the actress had to bow out of ‘Housefull 3’ promotions to go back home to New York for a month to address all her medical issues and recuperate.Nargis, who has been away from the country for more than two months now, will be next seen in ‘Banjo’, directed by Ravi Jadhav, will features her opposite Riteish Deshmukh.(UNI)
