Mumbai: The conflict between Hrithik and Kangana has been one of the oldest rivalries in the Bollywood industry. The five-year tirade between bot the quality actors gets bit by bit bitter with each passing day. Trade experts and fan clubs have always been enthusiasts if these two greats clashed on box office. But once bitten twice shy, Greek god has averted the clash on two occasions.
However, if the numbers are to go by, it feels that Hrithik Roshan has missed a golden chance to settle this for once and all. It is to be noted that Hunk Hrithik Roshan preponed “Super 30” a biopic made on Anand Kumar the mathematician to avoid same date release with Kangana Ranaut starrer “Judgementall Hai Kya” a suspense thriller.
Both the movies did well on the first weekend. As the flicks released on different dates it is unjust to compare the collections but there is very less disparity in the 1st weekdays collections of Judgementall Hai Kya and 3rd weekdays collections of Super 30.
Judgementall Hai kya has garnered 2.60 crores on first Monday followed by 2.62 crores on first Tuesday. While on the same date the third-week old movie Super 30 has collected 1.39 crore and 1.35 crore respectively. It can be easily seen the difference is just 1.2 crore.
Kangana and Rajkumar Rao starrer Judgementall Hai Kya have earned 27 crore in 5 days thanks to the good performance in the weekend. While 12th July released, Super 30 has made into the 100 crore club and now eyeing the 150 cr mark. At present, the collection of the movie is 129 crore.(WD)
