New Delhi: Indian actress Anushka Sharma penned a heartwarming post for her husband, Virat Kohli, after India lifted the T20 World Cup on Saturday. She affectionately referred to the star batter as "my home".
Kohli scored his first fifty of the tournament in the final against South Africa. His 76 off 59 balls, which included six fours and two sixes, propelled India to a competitive total of 176/7 and earned him the man of the man of the match award.
Soon after the game, the cricketing icon declared his retirement from T20 Internationals.
Sharma, who was cheering from home in India, shared the post on Instagram shortly after the team's thrilling victory. "AND… I love this man @viratkohli. So grateful to call you my home – now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this!" she captioned a picture of Kohli holding the trophy.
