Children's Day is observed every year on November 14 as a tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru. To celebrate this day, a few celebrities from the industry have shared their favourite childhood memory and also their favourite song.

Nidarshana Gowani

My favorite memory is waiting for Sunday's because during those days on Doordarshan we could see cartoons from 9 am to 10 am, in the afternoon we would play outdoor games and in the evening at 7.30 pm there was a movie on Doordarshan. I grew up in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and I miss the old culture, and how innocent and simple life was and how small things gave the most joy.

My favorite children's song is Lakdi ki kathi.

Saurabh Agarwal

I grew up in Allahabad now Prayagraj so all my childhood memories are from there. I always wanted to play and detested studies, so as a child my most loveable time was when I started playing badminton at the age of 8. I started playing pretty well and learned the technique quite soon and even represented my city/district and my state too as number one. The blessing in disguise was when my school St Joseph College also started treating me as a star player who is giving a good name to school in sports category and they acknowledged it by giving me a 20% grace marks as a sportsman, (as most of the time I was traveling or busy coaching) and that really helped me out in passing all my grades with minimum studies.

Prateik Chaudhary

My most favorite childhood memory was when I was in school. I was a very naughty kid and I used to be in the principal's office every third or fourth day. I used to bunk school a lot, because I used to hate getting up early. My teachers used to get annoyed so much that they would always punish me. So, in school, either I would be at the last bench or I would be kneeling down outside the classroom. Only reason I wasn’t expelled was because I was very good at other activities like dance and sports. I have won many trophies and certificates for my school.

My favourite children's songs are many, and it's very difficult to choose one. But my most favourite was Nanha munna rahi hun.

Pragati Mehra

My most favorite childhood memories would be the grand birthday parties my parents threw for me year after year after year till I became a teenager. They used to be massive affairs, more like weddings. I would be pampered like a queen. Another huge memory is spending my two month summer break in Kashmir - my nanihal (my mom is a Kashmiri) so going to Srinagar and jamming with all extended cousins from my mom's side was the best part of the trip.

I don’t really remember any favorite song. My favorite actor was Dharmendra and my mom tells me I used to keep humming Dheere Dheere Bol koi sun na le.

Vandana Khandelwal

I grew up in Jabalpur and all my memories from there are special. It's difficult to pick a favorite. Childhood is the best phase of our lives, we are innocent and carefree and I wish we could be like that forever.

My favourite song is Ladki ki kathi.
