The entertainment industry is once again in the spotlight after a major drug case surfaced. Recently, Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell busted a huge drug syndicate allegedly operated by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s associate, Salim Dola. The investigation has revealed possible links to several Bollywood celebrities.
Among the names that have emerged is that of popular influencer Orhan Awatramani, widely known as Orry, famous for his unique style and frequent photos with celebrities. The Anti-Narcotics Cell has now issued a summons asking Orry to appear before the Ghatkopar Unit office on Thursday morning.
According to officials, the summons is part of the ongoing investigation. Orry will be questioned regarding the statements and claims made by the main accused, Sohail alias Lavish Shaikh, during interrogation. However, no charges have been filed against any high-profile individual so far. The step is purely to verify facts and cross-check information.
Police officials also clarified that in high-profile investigations, statements are considered valid only when backed by solid electronic or documentary evidence. Issuing a summons to Orry is therefore a routine part of the procedure.
Earlier, Nora Fatehi’s name had also surfaced in the case. She later issued a clarification on social media, stating, “I DONT go to Parties.. Im constantly on flights.. Im a work holic, I dont have a personal life.. I dont associate myself with people like that.. I spend my entire days and nights working on my dreams and goals! Dont believe anything you read! It seems like my name is an easy target!”
