'Paltan' trailer launched amidst huge fanfare

Mumbai: The makers of 'Paltan' have unveiled the trailer of the war drama with much pomp and glory.
The entire cast of the film was present at the trailer launch on Thursday, including helmer J P Dutta, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane, Siddhant Kapoor,  Luv Sinha,  Shoaib Ibrahim,  Sonal Chauhan, Monica Gill, Dipika Kakar and Nidhi Dutta, along with   CEO of Zee Studios, Shariq Patel.
 
Speaking about the film, Director JP Dutta shared, "I remember saying that post 'Border,' I won't make any war film, but then Kargil happened. I had promised a trilogy, so that's why Paltan.''The trailer of Paltan was loved by everyone, who witnessed it at the launch.Paltan marks ace filmmaker JP Dutta's return to direction after 12 long years.
 
Zee Studios and J P Dutta Films' upcoming war drama Paltan, starring an ensemble cast of Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane andSiddhant Kapoor, among others, shared a special video, as the film inches closer to its release.Paltan is based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967, which took place along the Sikkim border. The movie showcases an untold story of the Indian forces, facing off in an intense battle to ward off a Chinese infiltration.
 
With power-packed performances, the movie promises to tell the riveting, untold story of the bravest of Indian soldiers, who fought with their brothers next to them, till the end. Presented by Zee Studios and produced by JP Dutta Films, Paltan is slated to release on September 7.(UNI)
