New Delhi: Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) ‘Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has wiped out all previous records as it has collected Rs 55 crore net in India, and recorded the biggest ever day one for a Hindi film.
The total collections of ‘Pathaan’ on day one is Rs 57 crore nett (Hindi- Rs 55 crore and dubbed versions Rs 2 crore).
The flick has set 10 new records with its incredible day one figure at the box office! It has become the widest Hindi release of all time in India. It’s the highest grossing first day for a Hindi film. It’s also the highest grossing first day for a non-holiday release.
‘Pathaan’ is the third YRF spy universe film to set an opening day record after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘War’.
It is also the highest grossing first day for SRK, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, YRF, and director Siddharth Anand.
