'Pink' earns Rs 51 cr at box office in 10 days, earns a profit of 143 pc

Mumbai: Rising on the strong buzz around the film, strong performances by Amitabh Bachchan and other members of the cast and excellent reviews, 'Pink' has earned Rs 51 crore at the box office at the end of its second weekend, trade sources said.

After drawing a good response from the audience in its first week, Pink, which also stars Tapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Angad Bedi in key roles, had a good second weekend.The film now has a total collection of Rs 51 crore at the domestic box office.

Produced by Shoojit Sircar and directed by Aniruddha Roy Chaudhry, Pink, made on a budget of merely Rs 21 crore, has et set the cash registers ringing at Rs 30 crore - a profit percentage of 143 per cent. Trade sources said Pink is the fifth most profitable movie of the year. (UNI)
