Mumbai: 'Kedarnath', an Abhishek Kapoor directed film's trailer got released recently. Kedarnath witnessed a gruesome flood some years ago. Thousands of people suffered and hundreds lost their lives. Many people turned homeless and huge financial loss adding to woes.
Kedarnath movie is based on the same incident. The trailer presents a glimpse where a Muslim boy saves a Hindu girl during the calamity and they fall in love with each other. The plot has drew ire and many have begun to oppose the film. They believe that this film promotes 'love jihad' and hence it should not be released. A long scene of lip-locking has also been shown between Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Alik Khan in the trailer, which has added fuel to the fire.

This film is set to be released in December. Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan will make debut with this film. The same protest like Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavat looks on the cards. It faced nationwide protest which resulted in a delay in the release. Reactions coming from inside the industry hints that Kedarnath may receive similar wrath especially during the release date.
