Race 3 has not done enough business to be called a HIT

Mumbai: Despite surging into 100 crore club in first weekend,  'Race 3 is not even classifying into the Hit movies of this year.' The movies bulk earning came from single screens across India. Still the performance was badly affected due to negative public opinion. 

Ever since the dialogue “Our business is our Business, None of Your Business” became a tool for the trolls, Race 3 has been the butt of jokes before its release. It looked like only the trailer is bad, but the movie proved to be worse.

The film also goes ahead to become the highest opener of 2018 by minting Rs 29.17 crore on day one. The day two collections witnessed an upward trend as it saw Rs 38.14 crore at the box office followed by day three collections of Rs 39.16 crore, day four collections of 14.24 crore and day five being Rs 12.05 crore.

 However, from Day 6th to Day 11th the movie only garnered 34 crores. The gross collection of the movie is expected to touch 165 crore mark. While the budget of the movie is 185 crores.Thus, it can be said that some distributors will incur loss and the movie will not be known as HIT. (WD)
