Radhika Madan pens THIS heartfelt note after winning Filmfare Award

Mumbai: Actor Radhika Madan penned a heartfelt note after she bagged her first-ever Filmfare Award, she took home the Best Supporting Actor Female Award for her stunning role of Divya Didi in 'Ray'.

'Ray' is an anthology series on Netflix created by Sayantan Mukherjee, based on the works of Satyajit Ray. The series is directed by Srijit Mukherji, Vasan Bala and Abhishek Chaubey.

The web series features actors Manoj Bajpayee, Gajraj Rao, Ali Fazal, Shweta Basu Prasad, Anindita Bose, Shruthy Menon, Kay Kay Menon, Bidita Bag, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Chandan Roy Sanyal.

Angrezi Medium movie actor Radhika Madan took to her social media profile and wrote: "They say that the characters you play give you something and take something from you. When I was approached to play "Didi" I was lingering in this uncertain anxious energy, eager to know what happens when you make it at the top (which I feel every actor experiences) and I really wanted to break away from that."

"Didi was above all of that..she was sitting right at the top owning everything and everyone.. and I would have given my all to experience even a minute of it! Thankyou @vasanbala for giving me that opportunity…I think somewhere didi took away the insecurity in me and gave me this immense power of finding The 'spotlight' within. On the work front, Radhika will soon start the shoot of 'Kuttey' with Arjun Kapoor. The film is the directorial debut of Vishal Bharadwaj's son Aakash Bharadwaj. (UNI)
