Raju Srivastava gained consciousness? Raju Srivastava’s daughter gives comedian’s health update

New Delhi: After rumours about comedian Raju Srivastava gaining consciousness after 15 days went rampant on social media, his family quashed the reports asking fans and followers to not believe fake reports and rumours.

The comedian, who is undergoing treatment at AIIMS here, currently is in stable condition and recuperating slowly, a latest statement by his family said.

In an Instagram post, which was shared on Raju's official handle, his daughter Antara Srivastava wrote, "Dear all well-wishers, My dad Mr Raju Srivastava Ji's condition is stable and he continues to recover slowly. He is on the ventilator at the moment."

On rumours on Raju's health condition, she said, "Only statements from AIMS Delhi and Raju Ji's official social media accounts are trustworthy and genuine. Any other news or statements from anyone else is unreliable."

The daughter of the comedian also informed that the doctors and their entire team at AIMS Delhi are working hard and diligently and expressed her gratitude to them.

"We're thankful to them and all his well-wishers. Request you all to continue your love and prayers for his speedy recovery. With love and gratitude from, Antara Srivastava," she added.

Raju's health deteriorated while he was running on a treadmill at a South Delhi-based gym. He felt severe chest pain following which he suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital by his gym trainer. (Inputs from UNI)
