Mumbai: After five years of courtship Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will tie the knot on Thursday.

The ceremony will take place at Ranbir's flat in Vastu apartments in Bandra's Pali Hills here.

Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, Shaheen Bhatt, Soni Razdan and others leave from RK's residence. On Thursday morning, friends and family members including moms Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan, and sisters Riddhima Kapoor, Shaheen Bhatt were caught arriving at the groom-to-be's residence where the couple will be tying the knot.

An intimate affair, the wedding will see very limited guests in attendance, including only family members and close friends. Fans and media will have to wait for the customary wedding photographs to go out on Instagram of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor as husband and wife later in the day.

The wedding festivities started on Wednesday with a Ganesh Puja at Vaastu exactly on the day 43 years after Neetu Kapoor wedded forever matinee idol and late Rishi Kapoor, who is sorely missed by all.

The couple conducted their pre-wedding ceremonies at their respective homes as well with both houses seen all decked up as pictures went viral on social media.

Ranbir hosted the mehendi on Wednesday and haldi ceremonies will also take place at his Pali Hill residence Vastu. Close friends and family were part of the function. Cousins Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and director-friend Karan Johar, among others were present for the rituals on Wednesday evening.

It was also then minutes before the mehendi that mom Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni confirmed to the paparazzi that Alia and Ranbir will tie the knot on Thursday around 2 pm.
