Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor's much-awaited multi-lingual venture "Shamshera" got its release date. Makers Yash Raj Films revealed on Friday it will be July 22.
Co-star Vaani Kapoor shared the news via Instagram. Sharing the poster she wrote, "The adventure is about to begin. Excited to a part of this journey! Celebrate #Shamshera with #YRF50 only at big screen near you."
Sanjay Dutt who will also be seen in a pivotal role shared the poster and said: "Shamshera will rise".
YRF also released a minute teaser featuring the three stars. The makers wrote: "A legend will rise on 22nd July! @yrf's much-awaited big ticket spectacle #Shamshera starring superstar RanbirKapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, is set to release at a theatre near you in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu."
The cast can be seen sitting in a dim-lit room surrounded with weapons.
Sanjay Dutt says: "This story is of the one who said slavery of anyone is not good, neither of others, nor of the people close to us."
Vaani Kapoor then continues, "This story is of the one who earned a dream about freedom as legacy from his father." (UNI)
