Release of PM Modi’s biopic preponed to April 5

New Delhi: Release of the much awaited biopic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been preponed by a week, to April 5, trade sources said on Tuesday.

Trade sources said that considering the huge anticipation for the film, the makers have decided to release it a week early. The film, which was releasing on April 12, will now hit the theatres on April 5.

Talking about the early release, producer Sandip S Singh said, “We are bringing this film a week early on public demand. There is a lot of love and anticipation among the people and we don’t want them to wait longer. This is a story of 1.3 billion people and I can’t wait to show it to them”.

Featuring Actor Vivek Oberoi in the title role, ‘ PM Narendra Modi’ will tell the journey of Mr Modi right from his struggling days till he became the Prime Minister of India.

The film has created a lot of buzz since the first look was out.

Oberoi will be seen in nine different looks in the film.

The film has garnered a lot of attention since the first look poster of the film was released in January.

The first look poster was unveiled in January by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis in 23 different languages.

Apart from Vivek Oberoi, the biopic, produced by Suresh Oberoi, Sandip S Singh, Anand Pandit and directed by Omung Kumar, also stars Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Ramakant Dayma, Akshat R Saluja, Jimesh Patel and Darshan Kumaar in pivotal roles.
