Mumbai: The critically lauded biographical action drama "Major", starring Adivi Sesh and Saiee M Manjrekar, is preparing for an official screening in Japan.
Based on the heroic life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, a valiant officer of the National Security Guard who laid down his life during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, the film has received widespread recognition for its deeply-felt depiction of sacrifice, patriotism and unwavering courage.
The film will be screened with Japanese subtitles under the aegis of the Indian Embassy in Japan. The special screening will take place on April 29, from 2 pm to 4:30 pm, though prior registration is mandatory for attendance.

Saiee M Manjrekar, who portrayed the role of Major's wife, delivered a moving performance that captured the emotional spectrum of love, loss and quiet strength, anchoring the emotional core of the film.
