Salman Khan heads to Punjab for the final schedule of ‘Bharat’

New Delhi: After being shot in Malta, Abu Dhabi and Mumbai, the makers of the Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’ are set to begin the final shooting schedule of the film in Punjab, trade sources say.

The sources said superstar Salman Khan, who is the lead actor of the film, headed to Punjab to shoot for the final schedule of the movie.

An official remake of a Korean movie called  ‘Ode To My Father’,  ‘Bharat’ features Salman and Katrina in lead roles.

The film, which will witness Salman and Katrina in five different looks, spans many decades, from the 1940s to present.

Besides Salman and Katrina, ‘Bharat’, being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also stars Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover, Tabu and Jackie Shroff in key roles.

Being produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Bhushan Kumar, ‘Bharat’ is set to hit the screens next year on the occasion of Eid.

Trade sources say that the film will feature lengthy sequences set against the backdrop of the partition. (UNI)
