Hyderabad/Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has wrapped up the shooting for his first Telugu movie “Godfather”, but reports on Tuesday said he has threatened to walkout of the movie, sending fan into tizzy.
Salman had joined actor Chiranjeevi in Hyderabad for the shoot. After wrapping up, when he was offered remuneration, the star apparently threatened to walk out of the film, despite his insisting he would do the role for free.
The actor was reportedly offered Rs.20 crore for a special appearance but "Bhaijaan" has decided to work for free given his long standing friendship with Chiranjeevi.
The move left the Tollywood actor and the rest of the crew of “Godfather” a bit stunned.
The film is directed by Mohan Raja and is an official remake of a Malayalam movie “Lucifer”.
The film also stars Satyadev Kancharana, Harish Uthaman, Jayaprakash and Vamsi Krishna among others. (UNI)
