Bengaluru:City Crime Branch sleuths, who are investigating into the alleged drug racketing in the state, have arrested Sanjana Galrani, another film personality from theKannada cinema world, after conducting a raid on her house .
According to official sources, the search and arrest of the cine actor followed the ongoing investigation into the drug peddling in the state, in which already the police have arrested Cine star Ragini, who is presently in police custody.
The CCB team, who swooped on to the house of Sanjana, in the early morning raid and reportedly confiscated certain documents in support of their actions and later arrested the inmate, Sanjana, the sources said.
The CCB police team had already arrested her close associate Rahul, an industrialist into the case.

Bengaluru:The eighth ACCM court ordered five days police custody of Sandalwood actress Sanjana Galrani, who was arrested in the drug mafia case.The CCB police has produced her before the court and sought for police custody.
Earlier in the morning CCB had searched her flat in Indira Nagar and detained her after a four-and-half hour-long search.Sanjana is the second Sandalwood actress to be arrested in a drug scandal case after Ragini Dwivedi.
This is the second instance when a Sandalwood actress has been arrested and sent to judicial custody in a alleged nexus of drug mafia. Earlier actress Ragini Diwedi was also arrested and sent to judical custody last week.
