Sequels ‘demonetized’ at Box office

Mumbai: It was on the cards, every trade pundit predicted a dip in the collection of the sequels released in the past week due to the demonetization announced by PM on November 8th. Despite an action packed trailer "Force 2" was unable to gather crowd at the box office. The movie made a poor start on Friday with 6.02 crore and 6.50 crore on Saturday. Even on Sunday the collection of 7.5 crore didn’t met the expectations. The movie earned a gross 20 crore in the weekend.
 

While "Tum Bin 2" proved to be a colossal failure at the box office. The movie had a disastrous start on the day one and didn’t even added one crore in the bag. After earning .80 crore the collection further dipped to .07 crore on Saturday. Only on Sunday it managed to earn one crore at the box office. The total earning of Tum Bin in the weekend was a meager 2.5 crore. (WD)
