New Delhi:The makers of ‘Ek Villain Returns’ on Saturday released new song from the movie titled ‘Shaamat’.Tara Sutaria kills it with her brilliant vocals alongside Ankit Tiwari and her rockstar performance. This is the first time Tara has sung for a film and when asked, Tara had a lot of fun both singing and filming it.

“Its been such an unusual experience for me and this feeling is incomparable as ‘Shaamat’ marks my debut in singing for film. Apart from the making process of the song, I had a great experience in shooting with Arjun. He is a gem both on and off set – this song was the beginning of the film shoot for us and also the beginning of a wonderful equation we’ve built over the last two years in making the film,” Tara said.

‘Shaamat’ is also the song that became the seed for Tara and Arjun Kapoor’s strong friendship.
Arjun said “It was our first real interaction. On the day of shooting ‘Shaamat’, Tara and I really bonded over that song, we became very very close.”

“When you see the song you will see an equation develop on camera which was also developing off-camera,” he said. Their friendship grew so beautifully that Arjun even stayed back to share Tara’s excitement during a stunt.

“There’s a visual where Tara is put on a harness and she has to be zip-lined onto the stage. It was a night shoot and Tara was excited and nervous about doing the zip-line visual. I had very few shots but we all ended up staying back because we all wanted to see Tara perform it. Of course she managed to do it very well and I ended up shooting a video of it on my phone and showing it to her later. It was so much fun watching her shoot her first stunt being on the harness while performing as a rockstar and being there for her,” said Arjun.

Starring a powerful ensemble cast including John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani, and Tara Sutaria, 'Ek Villain Returns' will release on July 29.The movie is directed by Mohit Suri and jointly produced by T-Series and Balaji Telefilms.(UNI)
