Veteran actress Shabana Azmi has said that she was the victim of an online fraud and the liquor delivery platform she mentioned in her Twitter post was not involved in it.
Shabana had tweeted on Thursday that she never received the prepaid order she placed on alcohol delivery platform Living Liquidz. The actress later said that she spoke to the owners of the platform who clarified that she had no contact with the fraudster.
Azmi wrote, "Finally traced the owners of Living Liquidz and it is proved that this act is of fraudsters and this brand has nothing to do with them." The actress has asked Mumbai Police and Cyber ??Crime Department to take strict action against those involved in this fraud.
Moksha S Saini, Director, Living Liquidz, issued a statement saying that they have already informed the police.
