Marjaavaan is being shot in Mumbai where Sidharth Malhotra is once again in his action avatar after Brothers (2015). What we have heard is that Sidharth Malhotra hurt himself while filing an intense action sequence for his upcoming action thriller Marjaavaan starring Ritesh Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria.
Director Milap Zaveri in attempt to find similar action as his last hit Satyameva Jayate, put extra emphasis on the action quality in Marjaavaan as well which did not go well for Sidharth Malhotra who hurt his hand while attempting a stunt where he had to deal with fire.
In one of the stunts, Malhotra had to beat up while fire around him. The director advised to use a body double, it was Malhotra's wish to do it himself. All was going well for the actor but he ended up bruising his knuckles while throwing punches at the baddies.
